Missouri River, Montana1 - EXCELLENT on 10/25/2007
The fishing has been great...with such warm water all summer long it has made the trout extremely aggressive with the cooler water temperatures. If you can stay out of the wind you will see plenty of topwater action.

Bitterroot River, Montana2 - GOOD on 10/25/2007
Good afternoon fall fishing conditions persist. The best dry fly action is in the afternoon. Look for warmer (50+) and cloudy days to produce your best action.

Pere Marquette River, Michigan3 - FAIR on 10/25/2007
Fished the PM last weekend and did fairly well with the kings and browns. Lots of browns feeding on eggs. Kings are tapering off fast and lots of old fish in the system. However, steelhead should be picking up fast!

Blackfoot River, Montana3 - FAIR on 10/25/2007
Mostly an afternoon deal. Cold water temps have the fish a bit sluggish on the Blackfoot by this time of year. Some good Baetis activity in mid afternoon.
