This river is always ranked in the top 3 for one the most productive
rainbow trout fisheries in the world. With a huge run of sockeye salmon,
the amount of eggs released into the river makes for outrageous numbers of
large rainbows. Although it fishes best in August through September, a
skilled fisherman can catch upwards of 30 fish a day, averaging anywhere
from 22 inches all the way up to 30 inches. Most fish will be in the
22-26 inch range. This is the real deal for fly fishermen targeting
rainbow trout. A day on the Moraine Creek will blow your mind!
