The Green River is a fly fishing destination that is very close to Seattle
and Tacoma. Due to the locale there may be pressure but there are plenty
of fish. Fly anglers target steelhead in the winter and summer and trout
as well. Fly anglers who want to escape the masses can try the Green
River Gorge and the upper stretches of the Green.
