Fishing Report:
The Eagle is now ice free from above Minturn to the confluence of the Colorado. Fishing this week has been EXCELLENT, nymphing Midges, egs and small Mayfly larva/emergers is the most productive during the middle part of the day. Still having good afternoon Midge and Blue Winged Olive hatches! Guided and non guided fisherman are reporting great action. The weather for the next 7-10 days is very favorable for the fisherman. Nymphing small gray/black and red midge patterns (#20-22) below a pheasant tail, Egg or Prince nymph (#14-18) have continued to be most productive. PLEASE RESPECT THE SPAWNING BEDS!!
