Thanks for the comment Josh. My buddies first drift trip. He got that fish first thing on his spey rod swinging streamers. (minich83 on 4/30/11)
They were trico spinners. It looked like it was snowing in a lot of the early morning pics from that day (minich83 on 4/30/11)
you would have to be carefull. That fish had some teeth! (minich83 on 4/30/11)
Your right, I do need a new name. The only problem is my bro's name is bowslayer, so bow hunter would be too close. I'll have to think about a good one. By the way. I want to hit up the Taylor River some time. I thinks thats out your way. If so, you'll have to put me on some fish colorado trout. (RandallT on 4/30/11)
Nice one, I'll have to run it by my brother. Me and him are off to Alaska in 3 weeks for big bows, so that might just be the one. (RandallT on 4/30/11)
Thnks for the comments Josh. Are my sons ever addicts now! I have to take them at least once a week or they feel neglected hahaha. Just looking at your pics, way to hook em. Just got back from a second trip to montana with Jim Mitchell. Got to embrace the addiction, thats the first of 12 steps in the "FA" program. Step 12 is to fish as much as you can. Its the only cure. Save the money, dont worry about steps 2-11 and keep doing what your doing! (carythayne on 4/30/11)
Picture wasn't that great, all I had was my cell phone camera. It's actually a straight Bonneville cutt. Thanks man. (RandallT on 4/30/11)
Thanks Josh. I haven't kept a trout since I was 8 years old. Any fish you see in any of the pictures I post was released as soon as the pic was taken. (minich83 on 4/30/11)
He was a walleye guide from canada. Force of habit I guess. Believe me his hands weren't there long! (minich83 on 4/30/11)

You asked me what I had holding the reel to the rod in my catfish pic....it was tie-wrap from the store I bought it from..but I have removed it...thanks (flycastinginstructor on 4/30/11)
right on josh. how's the fishin been? (mattyp on 4/30/11)
First it was the rainbow then it was a week and a half of living out of a tent in Alaska. Shes definitely hooked now. She even goes to the MO with me in the winter and camps out in our tent. (mattyp on 4/30/11)
The Mo's been good. Haven't been down there for about two weeks. I live about three hours away from it. I was great when I was there last. Planning a trip next weekend rain or shine. This weekend I'm just going to stick close to home and float the flathead. Cuts,Bulls, and Lakers on streamers. Lake Superior Whitefish have moved in from the lake. Theyre not much to look at but are fun to catch. (mattyp on 4/30/11)
yeah, spent a couple hours on the flathead. caught a few small cuts and some nice lake superior whitefish. caught a decent lake trout too. but it was pretty cold so we pulled anchor after a few hours. going to fish the swan where it dumps into flathead lake tomorrow. should be some lakers and bulls up eating pygmy whitefish. plus itss just a nice place to wade fish. (mattyp on 4/30/11)
this one was just kind of luck. i was throwing a small green bugger for lake superior white fish and he just happened to nail it. when i target them i usually use a pattern that resembles a pygmy whitefish cause theyre spawning now too. im going to fish where the swan river dumps into flathead lake tomorrow. theres usually quite a few lakers, bulls, and pike that come in there and just getted stuffed on the little whitefish. (mattyp on 4/30/11)
so you liked the pics of bckets of dead kocanee dogs and archery? (mattyp on 4/30/11)

Yeah but fishing alone produces more fish. (wordson4prez on 4/30/11)
Hi Josh, got ur comment on my pic. Ceck out Trout Beads.com for the bead explaination. Guess u could call it an egg pattern. LOL The propane is for the heater under the front deck on the driftboat! (samncrzy on 4/30/11)

Hi everyone, I was seriously thinking about starting a Fishing guide service for Bureau County. I've called some places to get the information I need. I'd just like to know if anyone would be interested in this? Cause I dont wanna go thru the time and trouble of preparing papers and buying the things I need if I wont get any interested customers. Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas. What I plan on doing (as soon as the snow is gone)is take pictures of all the area (public) Locks,Creeks and Ponds and add them to papers of info on what the stream is like, how deep, where its location is, what kinda of fish are in the area, etc. and take you wadding to the area you choose from the info papers I will make. I have flies I've made myself for sale in many different sizes, colors and styles. Days of the week, amount of hours and prices will be determined at a later time. <br> So If your an out of state/county fisherman and wanna try out Bureau County,Illinois waters please let me know. (Patrick38 on 4/30/11)
I will have to try the popper.Ill have to get some heads. The horse fly is my new fav. im going to try that on some bows on April 3rd thats when they stock a local pond if you have any suggestions on some flies, i'll tie them up. (Patrick38 on 4/30/11)
Yeah that crayfish has medium wire on the front 3/4 of the shank of the hook. (Fly_Jim on 4/30/11)
What do you think about the flies on the left side of my to go to fly box. (Patrick38 on 4/30/11)
I went to where they plan on stocking the trout in the pond. I asked the guy what they are eating be for they come to the pond and he said trout food. What fly would you use if they have been eating trout food for how knows for how long need help if you got any info. Thanks! (Patrick38 on 4/30/11)
Josh dont you worry... I am always making sure that safety comes first on the rivers! (wordson4prez on 4/30/11)
